Beyond the Vine raises about $100K for political action program
In addition to raising wineglasses, attendees at the California Apartment Association’s Beyond the Vine event raised plenty of money for political action. All told, about $100,000 poured in.
Joshua Howard, executive director of CAA’s Tri-County Division, thanked participants on behalf of the CAA Tri-County Board of Advisors and Political Action Committee.
“CAA members enjoyed a beautiful setting, perfect weather, fine wines, and gourmet food,” Howard said of the event, held Sept. 26 at Hakone Gardens in Saratoga. “The evening also brought together leaders from the multifamily industry and more than 20 elected officials from across Silicon Valley for spirited conversation and networking.”
The event was presented by numerous sponsors who are listed below and more than 200 rental housing industry leaders and partners.“Thanks to you, we had our most successful Beyond the Vine event,” Howard said. “We raised approximately $100,000 for the association’s political action program.”
Because of this high level of generous support, CAA Tri-County is able to continue robust efforts to promote public policy and elect candidates to public office who understand the issues facing apartment owners, operators and developers.
