California Apartment Association

The California Apartment Association will take to the airwaves this Saturday on a real estate talk show out of Fresno.

Welcome Home Radio will feature Stephanie Babb and Steven R. Hrdlicka.

Babb has been executive director at CAA Fresno since 2004. She is responsible for local board management, government relations, event planning and membership development.

Hrdlicka, an attorney, represents owners and managers of rental properties in Central California. He has successfully handled thousands of eviction and collection lawsuits. He also sits on the CAA Fresno board.

The guests will discuss a wide range of topics, from how CAA helps landlords to the dangers of manufacturing honey oil from marijuana. Other possible topics include:

• How to join CAA
• What sets CAA rental forms apart from the rest
• What adequate tenant screening entails
• Whether tenant screening can include criminal background checks

Hrdlicka and Babb will answer questions from this week’s guest host, Gerard Lozano. Lozano is government affairs director for the Fresno Association of Realtors.
