CAA’s spring Property Management Webinar Series starts today

The California Apartment Association’s spring Property Management Webinar Series starts Tuesday, April 14.

From the comfort of your home or office:

• Take individual classes or complete the series in its entirety. Completing the series qualifies you to become a California Certified Property Manager — a distinction employers look for when hiring talent and giving promotions.
• Pick up the keys to compliance with California’s unique laws and regulations. Avoid making mistakes that can lead to fines and other trouble.
• Learn and apply best practices in rental housing management so you can delight residents and property owners alike.

The spring series debuts with Preparing the Property & Professional Leasing Skills. You’ll learn about:

• Preparing a property for market
• The responsibilities of the property manager
• Setting competitive rents
• Perfecting curb appeal
• Fair Housing
• Calculating revenue formulas

As with other courses in the series, Preparing the Property & Professional Leasing Skills will be presented in two 90-minute segments. The first half will be webcast at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 14 and the second half at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16.  Students must complete both to obtain course credits. Each course includes a downloadable student guide.
