Glendale City Council takes steps toward temporary rent cap
During a hearing packed with housing providers Tuesday, the Glendale City Council requested staff to create a temporary rent cap with a maximum annual increase of 5 percent.
The council is expected to vote on the temporary ordinance on Nov. 27. The measure would last six months and contain a rollback date as early as Sept. 18, 2018.
