This form is used to notify a Resident that their current fixed term lease will be expiring, and to propose terms for a renewal lease or month-to-month agreement.  CAA offers a renewal version of the lease and month -to-month rental agreement.

Do not use this form if you wish to notify the Resident that their lease is expiring and will not be renewed.  Instead, use Notice of Non-Renewal of Lease – Form 45.0.

Do not complete this form without first reviewing the instruction sheet.

CAUTION: As of Aug. 31, 2020, a new California law changes the rules for evictions. Until July 1, 2021, do not use this form. Instead, use Notice of Expiration of Fixed Term Lease and Renewal Offer (Tenancies Subject to AB 1482 Just Cause) (Form CA-242). For more information, visit caanet.org/CTRA.
