Effective January 1, 2020, AB 1482 will impose rent caps on most residential rental properties in California and imposes “just cause” eviction requirements. For properties subject to AB 1482, Landlords must provide a specific notice to all existing Residents about the applicability of the AB 1482, no later than August 1, 2020.
