The following questions and answers provide general information to help CAA members understand the Sacramento Tenant Protection and Relief Act passed by the Sacramento City Council on August 13, 2019. This ordinance limits annual rent increases and places restrictions on tenancy terminations on some, but not all, rental properties within Sacramento city limits.
