Thirty-Day Notice of Change of Monthly Rent – City of Sacramento

This form contains the essential legal terminology for landlords who wish to alter the rent for a month-to-month tenancy for a rental unit that is subject to the Sacramento Tenant Protection and Relief Act (TPRA). The TPRA prohibits a landlord from increasing the rent more than once in a 12-month period and prohibits that increase from exceeding 5% plus the percentage change in the cost of living (CPI), or 10%, whichever is less.
