The California Apartment Association’s property management webinar series returns this month, imparting the knowledge needed to successfully manage rental housing while offering newly approved CalBRE continuing education credits. Students who complete the Fair Housing: It’s the Law (PMR107) or Ethics in Property Management (PMR108) will now earn continuing-education credits from the California Bureau of Real Estate. The deadline is just one week away for those needing to register for the California Apartment Association’s CCRM webinar series. Students have until noon, Friday, April 4, to register for the first class, Preparing the Property & Professional Leasing Skills. Expand your rental housing skills this spring, all from the comfort of your home or office.  In just two weeks, the California Apartment Association will launch its springtime property management webinars. You can take individual courses or the series in its entirety and qualify to become a California Certified Property Manager. The CCRM courses run from April 8 through June 26. This fall, CAA’s Southern California Rental Housing Expo 2013 will bring 130 vendor booths, tremendous networking opportunities and a slate of high-interest seminars to Pomona. The 10 courses cover all aspects of the rental housing business, from bed bugs to evictions, and will be taught by some of the industry’s best trainers. Each class qualifies students for one hour of CCRM continuing-education credits. The Expo is Oct. 29 at the Pomona Fairplex & Sheraton Conference Center, 601 W. McKinley Ave.
