CAA Greater Inland Empire partners with United Way to fight homelessness

The California Apartment Association and the United Way have formed a partnership to fight homelessness in the Inland Empire. CAA’s Greater Inland Empire and the Inland Empire United Way announced their partnership Tuesday, Sept. 15. CAA golf tourney doubles last year’s donation to fight homelessness in Inland Empire

Photos by Jon Endow More than 110 golfers have helped the California Apartment Association raise thousands of dollars to fight homelessness in the Inland Empire. On June 25, CAA’s 20th Annual Summer Scramble Charity Tournament generated $10,000 for HomeAid Inland Empire. CAA helps renovate Genesis House shelter in Inland Empire

The Genesis House, a shelter that provides temporary housing in the Inland Empire, has reopened after a major renovation project partly shouldered by the California Apartment Association. The California Apartment Association’s Greater Inland Empire division, also known as CAA-AAGIE, partnered with HomeAid Inland Empire to overhaul the 60-year-old, uninhabitable eight-unit apartment building. HomeAid Inland Empire and CAA Inland Empire contributed more than $40,000 in construction money and obtained nearly $60,000 in in-kind donations of labor and materials. Dear Ms. Moss, I want to personally thank you for your timely and very professional response. You are very thorough AND you provide examples and attachments how to find solutions and how to address the issues effectively. What you did would have taken me hours of research and still I wouldn't feel as confident in my ability because I am not up to date on how certain areas of a contract are practiced.

I was wary about joining CAA but after today I know I did the right thing and plan on continuing my membership for a long time.
