The California Apartment Association Greater Inland Empire has donated $10,000 to Inland Empire United Way.
The funds will assist United Way in providing a safety net for those in crisis and helping youth to achieve future self‐sufficiency.
Six months ago, CAA and United Way formed a partnership aimed at working together to battle poverty and homelessness in the Inland Empire, where one in four children are part of a family that is struggling to make ends meet. Tapped & Uncorked emphasizes achievements, giving

Nearly 400 people gathered last month for Tapped & Uncorked, an event that celebrated a year full of achievements by CAA Greater Inland Empire.
The second annual event came to the Riverside Convention Center on Thursday, Nov. 12.
Jennifer Halstead of Alliance Residential offered enthusiastic opening remarks, welcoming her fellow members of the Greater Inland Empire advisory board and introducing CAA IE’s executive director, Tim Johnson.

CAA Greater Inland Empire partners with United Way to fight homelessness

The California Apartment Association and the United Way have formed a partnership to fight homelessness in the Inland Empire.
CAA’s Greater Inland Empire and the Inland Empire United Way announced their partnership Tuesday, Sept. 15.
The collaboration will build on successful efforts CAA has already achieved in aiding those in need of emergency shelter and improving the lives of Inland Empire residents.
“Inland Empire United Way has a proven framework that will mobilize our members and open more avenues for CAA to help the communities we serve,” said Jennifer Bedford, Board Chairwoman of CAA Greater Inland Empire.
