The California Apartment Association is pleased to announce the results from the 2021 CAA Board of Directors’ election.
Voting for the 2021 CAA Board of Directors opened on October 23, 2020, and closed on October 29, 2020 at which time CAA President Barry Altshuler and CAA Secretary Cynthia Wray, were notified of the results.
In accordance with the CAA Bylaws, directors serve a term of three years and regional representatives serve a term of two years; newly elected directors will begin their terms on Jan. 1, 2021.

Greater Fresno’s rental housing elite received accolades Saturday night during the 18th annual Mark of Distinction Awards Banquet.
The California Apartment Association event drew roughly 800 members to the Fresno Convention Center in downtown.
Serving as master of ceremonies during the elegant evening was local CAA board member and attorney Steven R. Hrdlicka.
Awards went to winners in 19 categories. All nominees participated in a phone call interview with a judge for each category.
Winners received a crystal vase that they can proudly display at their respective properties, as well as certificates of recognition from various elected officials.

CAA Greater Fresno held its third annual Reverse Trade Show on Tuesday, June 10, at the Ramada Inn in Fresno.
This event is a twist on the traditional trade show, with property management companies as the exhibitors and industry partner members as the attendees.
Sixteen local property management companies served as exhibitors, bringing key decision-makers from operations, marketing and maintenance departments.
Industry partner members had five appointments with companies they pre-selected, each lasting eight minutes.
Twenty-three industry partner members participated at this business networking event.

CAA Fresno’s 2013 Mark of Distinction Awards will do more than honor peers in the multifamily housing business. It will give back to the community.
At the 16th annual event, HD Supply Multifamily Solutions will donate $2,500 to the Central Valley Veterans organization, which helps local veterans with everything from housing to employment to education.
