The California Apartment Association is pleased to announce the results from the 2021 CAA Board of Directors’ election.
Voting for the 2021 CAA Board of Directors opened on October 23, 2020, and closed on October 29, 2020 at which time CAA President Barry Altshuler and CAA Secretary Cynthia Wray, were notified of the results.
In accordance with the CAA Bylaws, directors serve a term of three years and regional representatives serve a term of two years; newly elected directors will begin their terms on Jan. 1, 2021.

On Feb. 6, the CAA Orange County Advisory Board of Directors was honored to present a live auction event held at Shea Apartment’s new Vantis property in Aliso Viejo. The California Apartment Association’s South Coast Division presented a $50,000 check Tuesday, July 8, to help reduce homelessness in Orange County.
The money, raised at a charity gala in May, went to the Orange County United Way for the Rapid Rehousing Initiative.
“With our support, Rapid Rehousing will be able to help get kids and their families out of unstable housing situations, from shelters, motels, or living with too many people in an apartment, into their own apartments they can call home,” Melinda Graham, CAA South Coast’s board chairwoman, has said.

CAA’s South Coast Division hosted the event Wednesday, May 21, at the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim.
