West Hollywood drops one-year lease mandate indefinitely

At least for now, West Hollywood’s one-year lease policy is no more.

Since 2017, the city has enforced a zoning amendment that effectively bans leases of less than one year for new tenants in post-2001 housing. In the fall, the City Council moved to expand the requirement to all units in the city.

Dear Ms. Moss, I want to personally thank you for your timely and very professional response. You are very thorough AND you provide examples and attachments how to find solutions and how to address the issues effectively.
