Get update on evictions, pending bills at CAA luncheon in Fresno
This month, the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office will discuss the eviction process and related matters during a California Apartment Association luncheon.
The educational event is from noon to 1:30 p.m., March 20, at TorNino’s Banquets.
Besides evictions, Sgt. John Golden of the sheriff’s Civil Department will offer an update about the lockout process, as well as wage garnishments after a judgment.
Also, Debra Carlton, CAA’s senior vice president of public affairs, will provide an update on rental housing-related bills introduced so far this year.
Finally, attendees will receive a briefing about last month’s Legislative Conference, when local CAA members held brief meetings with local lawmakers at the Capitol.
